Greetings from the Land of the Hawks!

My name is Mrs. Jefferson. I grew up in Raleigh, NC, and I have been in eastern NC since 2004. I have been at North Lenoir for four years now and I am "in charge" of this website.

In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mother, wife, daughter, cousin, friend, secretary, chef, banker, doctor, etc. The list goes on and on! I have two sons who are my sunshine. Being in my classroom, you will hear a lot about them! You will probably feel like you actually know and spend time with my children.

"Behold the turtle. He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out." ~James Bryant Conant

When I'm not at school, I like to read, watch movies, travel to the beach, and get together with my family and friends. I have many hobbies, but these are the main highlights of how I spend my time.

In my English class you will:
*Read short stories
*Practice grammar
*Enjoy novels
*Experience achievements
*Learn from mistakes
*Make memories

With this being said, I look forward to working with you and challenging you to live up to your potential.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Jefferson
